I bought a used MacBook Pro early 2015 and its super slow with the spinning wheel. When I type it lags.opening apps take a few seconds to come up. I replaced the ssd figuring it would fix the issue. I've re installed the os 5 times. a fresh install at that. I installed Mojave and high Sierra a few times and nothing fixes it.

Catalina itself is very buggy. Not just the 2012's but apparently even the 2015's/2014's feel sluggish & slow. if you must update to Catalina, wait for atleast another 3 or 4 months untils a stable, bug free build comes out. If not, i would say skip Catalina all together. either that. OR do a fresh install of Catalina.
